How can I help?
The loss of a loved one is never easy. It can be a very difficult time to keep a balanced perspective during your time of grief. I will assist you with decisions that ensure we find the best way to create a meaningful tribute for your loved one. We can also make sure that we carry out their wishes if they have left instructions for their own funeral and interment.
How we'll work together
Whether it’s the uniting of loved ones or celebrating the life of someone who’s passed, I’ll work with you to help make the process easy and enjoyable.
Let's start with a chat
Over a coffee, phone call or email, we’ll discuss what you’re after.
Let's make a plan
Once we’ve spoken, I’ll craft a bespoke ceremony for you based on your ideas and stories.
Getting it perfect
Once I've got a first draft, I'll send it through for you approval and can make tweaks where needed.
Your special day
Whether it's a celebration of love or life, I'll be there with you every step of the way.
A little about me
I graduated with an AUT Certificate in Celebrant Studies in 2009 and became a registered Marriage Celebrant in 2010. Before becoming a celebrant, I taught Physical Education and Health at Kerikeri High School in the Bay of Islands. Now, as well as being a celebrant, I am the Regional Sport Director at Sport Northland and am responsible for ensuring the development and growth of sport in secondary schools throughout Northland. A combination of years of teaching and being a celebrant, has given me the necessary skills to help assist you in whatever occasion you may have coming up. I am experienced, enthusiastic and love being able to help people when the opportunity arises. I take great delight in the ceremonies I work on and always aim to invest as much time in each couple or family, as needed, to achieve this. I pride myself on being well organised and like to keep in regular contact before the occasion, particularly in regards to the content of my script. I am renowned for my professional presentation and when it comes to weddings, can be relied upon not to clash with the bridesmaids. While I live in Kerikeri and absolutely love officiating at venues in some of the most beautiful parts of our country, I am also prepared to travel to venues outside of the Northland region. Whatever the occasion, I look forward to working with you to turn your thoughts and dreams into a reality.
“Robyn met with my family before my father passed away. My lovely Dad wanted to talk to us all about his funeral and what he wanted. Robyn gently and warmly guided us through this powerful family gathering. When my Dad did pass, Robyn supported us all and respected my fathers wishes. The funeral was large and many wished to express their memories and feelings for my Dad. Robyn took all of this on and lead us through a beautifully moving celebration of Dad’s life. I am deeply grateful.
Then Robyn married my brother and his wife. It was a wonderfully uplifting and happy ceremony. Robyn spoke so eloquently as she facilitated the joining of two families, I again was deeply grateful. I highly recommend Robyn as a magnificent celebrant “
